Maini Rental Solutions LLP (“LLP”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is a limited liability partnership forming part of the Maini Group, incorporated under the laws of India, having its registered office at No. 38, Maini Sadan, 7th Cross, Lavelle Road, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Bangalore, Bangalore North, Karnataka, India – 560001, The LLP is engaged in the business of tailored rental & leasing solutions for material & people handling equipment and certified operators, and issues this Accessibility Statement in respect of its digital platform at https://www.mainirentals.com/.
The LLP values the trust placed in it by users of its Platform and recognises the importance of ensuring that the Platform is accessible to all persons, including persons with disabilities. This Accessibility Statement (“Statement”) sets out the LLP’s commitment to digital accessibility, its current conformance status on the Platform, known limitations, the accessibility features implemented, the remediation programme in place, and the mechanisms available to users who require assistance or wish to raise concerns.
This Statement is an electronic record published pursuant to and in compliance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (“RPwD Act”), the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), and such other applicable laws and standards as are described herein. This Statement is to be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use published on the Rental Platform.

SCOPE:
1.1
This Statement applies to the website owned and operated by the LLP at https://www.mainirentals.com/ (the “Rental Platform” or “Platform”). This Statement does not extend to the websites of Maini Group’s alliance partners or other entities forming part of the Maini Group.
2.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS:
2.1
This Statement is published in compliance with the following standards and legal instruments, as may be amended or superseded from time to time (collectively, “Applicable Standards”):
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.2, Level AA: the current internationally recognised standard for web accessibility, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (“W3C”) on 5 October 2023 and organised around four principles Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (“POUR”);
- IS 17802:2022: the Indian Standard for web accessibility, titled “Accessibility of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Web Accessibility Requirements”, published by the Bureau of Indian Standards (“BIS”);
- Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) 3.0: issued by the National Informatics Centre and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). The LLP references these Guidelines as a best practice benchmark.

CONFORMANCE STATUS:
3.1
The Platform is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and IS 17802:2022. Partial conformance means that certain parts of the Platform do not yet fully satisfy all applicable success criteria. The LLP acknowledges this position transparently and sets out the known non- conformances under Clause 5 below.
3.2
The following principles from WCAG 2.2 guide our accessibility efforts:
- Perceivable: Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
- Operable: User interface components and navigation must be operable.
- Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
- Robust: Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.

ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES:
4.1
Notwithstanding the known non-conformances set out under Clause 5 below, the following accessibility features are currently implemented on the Rental Platform:
- Alternative text: images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images carry empty alt attributes (alt=““) and are accordingly ignored by screen reading software;
- Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements, including links, navigation items, buttons and form fields, are reachable and operable by keyboard navigation; focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements; a skip-to-main-content link is provided at the top of each page;
- Colour contrast and text resizing: primary body text, navigation elements and headings meet the WCAG 2.2 minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1; large text elements meet the 3:1 reduced minimum; users may resize text to 200% using browser zoom without loss of content or functionality; the Rental Platform does not suppress browser zoom on any page;
- Navigation and structure: a consistent heading hierarchy (H1 through H3) is maintained across all pages; navigation elements are consistently positioned;
- Forms: the Contact Us form carries visible and programmatically associated labels for all input fields; required fields are identified both visually and programmatically; the Contact Us form supports keyboard and screen reader navigation;
- Responsive design: the Platform is fully responsive, adapting to screen widths from 320 pixels to 1920 pixels and above; content reflows correctly at 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling ; and
- Multimedia: video content is configured to avoid autoplay; multimedia player controls are keyboard accessible and carry descriptive labels.

CONFORMANCE STATUS:
5.1
In the interest of transparency, the LLP sets out below all known material non-conformances on the Platform as at the date of this Statement, together with the applicable WCAG 2.2 success criterion and the scheduled remediation timeline:
5.2
The LLP further acknowledges the following categories of content on the Platform over which it does not have direct control:
- Third-party social media embeds: live feed content from social media platforms is subject to the accessibility posture of the relevant platform. Users who encounter barriers with such content are encouraged to access it directly via the respective platform’s accessible interface;
- Linked external documents: PDF documents and downloadable materials hosted on or linked from third-party platforms may not conform to applicable accessibility standards. The LLP endeavours to ensure that documents it produces are accessible, but cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party documents; and
- Third-party map service: the map embedded on the Contact Us page is served by a third-party provider. The LLP provides a full text address as an accessible alternative.
5.3
The LLP is committed to ongoing accessibility improvements. We will conduct periodic accessibility audits of the Platform, provide training to our web development and content teams, and encourage feedback from users to identify and address accessibility issues as they arise.

DATA SHARING:
6.1
The accessibility-related Personal Data (as defined in the Privacy Policy) collected by the LLP in connection with feedback, alternative format requests, and grievances filed under this Statement shall be processed strictly in accordance with the LLP’s Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act. The LLP does not share such data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes without the express consent of the relevant Data Principal. The LLP may share such data with its affiliates, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities to the extent required by Applicable Laws or in connection with the exercise of legal rights. Personal Data will be retained only for as long as necessary to address the request and or grievance and thereafter in accordance with applicable statutory retention requirements.

SECURITY SAFEGUARDS:
7.1
The LLP implements reasonable security measures to protect all Personal Data submitted in connection with this Statement, including accessibility feedback and grievance communications, from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include encryption, secure servers and adherence to industry standards for data protection.

YOUR RIGHTS:
8.1
In accordance with the Privacy Policy, you have the following rights:
- Right to accessible information: the right to access information published on the Rental Platform in a format that is accessible to you, including through the provision of alternative formats upon request;
- Right to feedback and redressal: the right to provide feedback on accessibility barriers and to have your concerns addressed by the LLP’s Grievance Officer within the timelines prescribed under Applicable Laws;
- Right to access, correction and erasure: in respect of any Personal Data submitted to the LLP in connection with an accessibility request or grievance, the rights described in the Privacy Policy apply in full; and
- Right to nominate: the right to nominate another individual to exercise your accessibility and data rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
